Most Distant Walker Ancestor Project Ready To Begin

We have completed the setup for the Most Distant Walker Ancestor Project and ready for the initial launch
of the Walker Around The World website.
There are many Walker sites which focus on presenting their family history, sharing inquiries,
and promoting living family activity.
The objectives of the Walker Around The World site will be to:
- Provide a "Most Distant Ancestor" listing of all Walker Family Groups first ancestor. How To Join
- Support the Walker DNA Project as the definitive tool to link Walker Family Groups
- Provide a place for Walker Family Groups to promote their family sites
- Gather resources where the Walker name is mentioned
- Publish Informative articles and information on finding links to other Walker families
There are currently some very dedicated Walker DNA Groups like

and others. This site does not replace the DNA Group and family group efforts to promote and
communicate their history. We hope to link DNA participants, Non-DNA researchers and others who
